A powerful documentary short film, inspired by the song 'Yours Eternally', sheds light on the unwavering spirit of Ukraine's heroes. On the somber anniversary of Russia's invasion, Ukrainian filmmaker Ilya Mikhaylus, a member of the Khartiya Corps, presents a moving 4½-minute documentary. This film, a collaboration with U2 and Ed Sheeran, captures the essence of freedom's defenders.
Produced by Pyotr Verzilov, the documentary was filmed during the harsh winter of 2025, offering an intimate glimpse into the lives of soldiers like Alina, who fight tirelessly on the frontlines in Kharkiv. It's a preview of a larger documentary set for release in 2026, directed by Mikhaylus.
"Ukraine's resilience against Russia's invasion is a testament to the strength of its people, especially the Khartiya Corps soldiers," Mikhaylus shares. "Our film aims to showcase the human side of these incredible individuals, their daily battles, and the ultimate sacrifice they make for freedom."
